प्रिया सखी: मेरा जन्म आर्मीनिया में हुआ, वहीं मेरी मातृभूमि है। लेकिन जब मैं पाँच साल की थी, तब मेरे माता-पिता बेलारूस चले गए। मेरा बचपन सामान्य था, पर एक बात जो मुझे विशेष बनाती है — वो ये कि मैंने बचपन से ही मांसाहार से परहेज़ किया। मुझे शुद्ध और सात्विक भोजन में ही आकर्षण रहा।
भारत भूषण: भारत की ओर आपका आकर्षण कब और कैसे शुरू हुआ?
प्रिया सखी: जब मैं छोटी थी, तब मुझे भारत के अध्यात्म की जानकारी नहीं थी। लेकिन मेरी फैमिली को बॉलीवुड फिल्में बहुत पसंद थीं — और मेरे भीतर भी भारत के प्रति एक अनजाना आकर्षण था। कभी-कभी मैं बिंदी लगाकर बाहर चली जाती थी, लोगों को लगता था मैं भारतीय हूँ।
भारत भूषण: क्या आपके परिवार में कोई भारतीय संस्कृति से जुड़ा हुआ था?
प्रिया सखी: नहीं, प्रत्यक्ष रूप से कोई नहीं। लेकिन भारतीय फिल्में, संगीत और पोशाकों से हम सब प्रभावित थे। पर असली पहचान तब बनी जब मैंने आध्यात्मिकता को अनुभव करना शुरू किया।

भारत भूषण: आपके कृष्ण भक्ति के सफर की शुरुआत कैसे हुई?
प्रिया सखी: जब मैंने मेडिकल कॉलेज से पढ़ाई पूरी की और राजधानी में नौकरी करने लगी, तब मुझे बहुत खालीपन महसूस होता था। एक दिन सड़क पर मैंने हरे कृष्ण महामंत्र का कीर्तन सुना — कुछ भक्त नाच रहे थे, गा रहे थे, और उनकी आंखों में जो शांति थी, उसने मुझे भीतर तक झकझोर दिया। यहीं से मेरी खोज शुरू हुई।
भारत भूषण: भगवद गीता के साथ आपका पहला अनुभव कैसा था?
प्रिया सखी: अविस्मरणीय। जब मैंने पहली बार गीता पढ़ी और वो श्लोक आया —
“सर्वधर्मान् परित्यज्य मामेकं शरणं व्रज” —
मेरी आंखों से अश्रुधारा बहने लगी। मुझे लगा जैसे कृष्ण स्वयं मेरे भीतर बोल रहे हों।
भारत भूषण: क्या आपने किसी मंदिर या आश्रम में समय बिताया?
प्रिया सखी: जी हाँ। मैंने अपने शहर में ISKCON मंदिर खोजना शुरू किया और वहाँ जाना मेरी दिनचर्या बन गई। वहाँ का कीर्तन, मृदंग, श्रीविग्रह का दर्शन — सबकुछ ईश्वर के निकट लाता गया।
भारत भूषण: क्या किसी गुरु ने आपके जीवन को दिशा दी?
प्रिया सखी: हाँ। मैंने चैतन्य चंद्र चरण प्रभु जी के प्रवचनों को सुनना शुरू किया। वे जयपताका स्वामी महाराज जी के शिष्य हैं। फिर मैंने उन्हीं से दीक्षा ली। उनके मार्गदर्शन ने मेरे जीवन को उजाले से भर दिया।
India: एक जीवन का पुनर्जन्म
भारत भूषण: आपने भारत की पहली यात्रा कब की और कहाँ गईं?
प्रिया सखी: 2023 में पहली बार भारत आई। एक भक्त मित्र ने तीर्थ यात्रा के लिए टिकट भेंट किया। मैंने पुरी, मायापुर, वृंदावन, ऋषिकेश जैसे स्थानों की यात्रा की। लेकिन मायापुर ने मेरा हृदय चुरा लिया — अब मैं वहीं रहती हूँ।
भारत भूषण: भारत में ऐसा क्या है जो सबसे ज़्यादा प्रभावित करता है?
प्रिया सखी: भारत की आत्मीयता, सरलता, और भक्ति की ऊर्जा। तीर्थस्थलों की वायब्रेशन दिव्य होती है। यहाँ के लोग बहुत भावुक और सहयोगी हैं। जैसे फलवाले याद रखते हैं कि मुझे कौन सा फल पसंद है — ये प्रेम पश्चिमी देशों में दुर्लभ है।
भारत भूषण: क्या भारत में विदेशी महिला होने के नाते कोई कठिनाइयाँ आईं?
प्रिया सखी: कुछ बातें कठिन थीं, जैसे ट्रैफिक का शोर, भीड़, और तेज़ रफ्तार जीवन। लेकिन भक्ति की शांति ने सब कठिनाइयाँ भुला दीं।
भारत भूषण: क्या आप कोई भारतीय भाषा सीख रही हैं?
प्रिया सखी: हाँ, मैं बंगाली सीखना चाहती हूँ, क्योंकि मायापुर में यही बोली जाती है। एक अच्छे शिक्षक की तलाश में हूँ।

प्रिया सखी: जगन्नाथ पुरी, मायापुर, वृंदावन और ऋषिकेश। पर जगन्नाथ पुरी खास है — वहाँ जाने से पहले मैंने समुद्र को सपने में देखा था। जब वहाँ पहुँची, तो लगा जैसे कृष्ण ने पहले से बुलाया हो।

प्रिया सखी: हाँ, खासकर मेरी माँ को मेरी भक्ति समझ नहीं आती। वे सोचती हैं कि मैंने अपना जीवन नष्ट कर दिया, पर मैं जानती हूँ कि यह मेरी आत्मा का जन्म है।

प्रिया सखी: वे जानें कि उनके पास अमूल्य खजाना है — भारतीय संस्कृति। इसे सिर्फ किताबों में न रखें, इसे जिएँ। जीवन तभी सुंदर बनता है जब वह ईश्वर से जुड़ा हो।

प्रिया सखी: मैं कुछ तय नहीं करती। मेरा विश्वास है — जो भी भगवान तय करेंगे वही श्रेष्ठ होगा। मैं बस चाहती हूँ कि मैं लोगों को कृष्ण की ओर ले जाने वाली एक छोटी-सी पुल बन सकूँ।

Bharath Bhushhan: Please tell us a little about yourself — where are you from, and what was your childhood like in Belarus?
Priya Sakhi: I was born in Armenia, which I consider my motherland. But when I was five years old, my parents moved to Belarus. My childhood was quite normal, but one thing made me different — I abstained from eating meat from a very young age. I was always drawn to pure, sattvic food.
Bharath Bhushhan: When and how did your attraction towards India begin?
Priya Sakhi: As a child, I didn’t really know about India’s spiritual heritage. But my family loved Bollywood movies — and I always felt a strange pull toward India. Sometimes I’d wear a bindi and go out, and people would assume I was Indian.
Bharath Bhushhan: Was anyone in your family connected to Indian culture?
Priya Sakhi: Not directly. But we were all quite influenced by Indian films, music, and clothing. The real transformation began when I started experiencing spirituality on a deeper level.
Krishna Bhakti: The Rebirth of the Soul
Bharath Bhushhan: How did your journey into Krishna devotion begin?
Priya Sakhi: After completing medical college and working in the capital city, I started feeling an inner emptiness. One day, I heard the Hare Krishna mantra being chanted on the street — devotees were singing, dancing, and their eyes sparkled with divine peace. It deeply shook me — that’s where my spiritual search began.
Bharath Bhushhan: What was your first experience reading the Bhagavad Gita like?
Priya Sakhi: Unforgettable. The first time I read the Gita and came across the verse —
“Sarva-dharmān parityajya māmekam śaraṇam vraja…”
I burst into tears. It felt as though Krishna Himself was speaking directly to me from within.
Bharath Bhushhan: Did you spend time in any temple or ashram?
Priya Sakhi: Yes, I started visiting the local ISKCON temple regularly. The kirtans, the mridanga drums, the darshan of the deities — everything pulled me closer to God.
Bharath Bhushhan: Did any guru guide your journey?
Priya Sakhi: Yes. I started listening to the discourses of Chaitanya Chandra Charan Prabhuji, a disciple of Jayapataka Swami Maharaj. Eventually, I took initiation from him. His guidance filled my life with light.
India: A Rebirth of Life
Bharath Bhushhan: When did you first come to India, and where did you go?
Priya Sakhi: I came to India for the first time in 2023. A devotee friend gifted me a ticket for a pilgrimage. I visited Puri, Mayapur, Vrindavan, and Rishikesh. But it was Mayapur that truly stole my heart — I now live there.
Bharath Bhushhan: What touches you the most about India?
Priya Sakhi: India’s warmth, simplicity, and spiritual energy. The vibrations at the pilgrimage sites are divine. People here are emotional and generous — even fruit sellers remember which fruits I like. Such love is rare in the West.
Bharath Bhushhan: Did you face any challenges as a foreign woman in India?
Priya Sakhi: Some things were difficult — the noise, traffic, and fast-paced life. But the peace of bhakti made it all bearable.
Bharath Bhushhan: Are you learning any Indian language?
Priya Sakhi: Yes, I want to learn Bengali since it’s spoken in Mayapur. I’m currently looking for a good teacher.

Bharath Bhushhan: As a vlogger, what message do you wish to share with your audience?
Priya Sakhi: My only goal is to make spiritual life feel natural. Do kirtan, offer service, honor prasadam — and see how your life becomes divine.
Bharath Bhushhan: Have you seen any transformation in people through your content?
Priya Sakhi: Yes, especially from Belarus, Russia, and Europe. Many people have connected with me and want to learn more about India and Krishna Bhakti. Some have even started visiting temples.
Bharath Bhushhan: Which pilgrimage sites have you visited, and which left the deepest impression?
Priya Sakhi: Jagannath Puri, Mayapur, Vrindavan, and Rishikesh. But Jagannath Puri is special. Before going there, I saw the ocean in a dream. When I arrived, it felt as if Krishna had invited me personally.

Bharath Bhushhan: How would you define “Indian culture” in one sentence?
Priya Sakhi: It is a culture that unites the soul with the Supreme, with the nurturing love of a mother and the wise discipline of a father.
Bharath Bhushhan: Have you faced criticism?
Priya Sakhi: Yes, especially from my mother, who doesn’t understand my devotion. She feels I’ve ruined my life. But I know this is the true birth of my soul.
Bharath Bhushhan: What message do you have for today’s youth?
Priya Sakhi: Realize that you hold an invaluable treasure — Indian culture. Don’t just keep it in books, live it. Life becomes truly beautiful when it is connected to God.

Priya Sakhi: To love God and realize my eternal identity as a soul.
Bharath Bhushhan: Where do you see yourself five years from now?
Priya Sakhi: I don’t make such plans. I believe whatever Krishna has planned is best. I only wish to become a small bridge that helps others connect with Him.
